The Tribune Building Project is more than just redeveloping a physical building. We have centered the project around empowering our residents and creating a vibrant hub of much needed economic growth for our community and surrounding area. Our current work includes:
- Pursuing a Public Market concept to expand entrepreneurial opportunities for an inviting resident and visitor experience in our downtown. Our positive feasibility study has now progressed into the next phase of developing a full business plan for development the market.
- Finding ways to utilize the building to highlight our beautiful riverfront.
- Expanding upon initial rooftop concepts for additional uses.
- Pursuing additional funding sources and grants.
- Connecting with diverse groups to create a place for authentic multi-cultural experiences.
- Partnering with experts who have years of success in bringing public market plans into reality.
Our journey of resiliency and persistence continues to make this project a reality. One in which the Tribune Building Project becomes a hub for entrepreneurial growth, multi-cultural collaboration and celebration, and a place to spark hope for a brighter future for our community and beyond.
