Fill Out One Application, Access Multiple Scholarships

When applications open, you will fill out the application based on your own personal information, interests, and experiences, and the questions will adapt to your specific situation. No application will look exactly the same.

You will automatically be considered for all scholarships you are eligible for. In some instances, you may be eligible for specific scholarships by filling out additional questions or submitting a short essay. If you choose not to fill out extra information, you will not be considered for those scholarships.

Notification of Awards

Scholarship recipients will receive an email from ISTS no later than May 31st.

Scholarship Payments Sent

By mid August, ISTS will issue payments to schools via ACH. When ACH is not available, checks are mailed directly to scholarship recipients, who must hand deliver to their school’s financial aid office.

How to Apply

Submit Your Application with Success

Students must fill out their own applications and are responsible for all communications. ISTS will not communicate with parents or guardians on behalf of a student.

1.

Access ISTS Scholarship Application Portal

We partner with ISTS to facilitate applications and payments.

ISTS (International Scholarship & Tuition Services) is a trusted and nationally recognized organization known for their expertise.

2.

Create Your Profile

If you’re a new user, set up your profile using a personal email address, not a school email. The name you use in your profile must match the name on your transcript.

If you’re a returning user, log in to your existing account.

You can only create a new profile or start a new application within the application window.

3.

Complete the Eligibility Questionnaire

This step must be done in one sitting, so plan at least 30 minutes to complete it. If you log out of your account before you’re finished, it will be submitted as is.

Since eligibility for many scholarships is based on your answers, you may unintentionally remove yourself from consideration by not completing your questionnaire.

4.

Fill Out Application

Be sure to upload your transcript.

Additional questions or short essays may be required. You can save and go back to your application anytime before the deadline.

5.

Submit and Check Back

Submit your application by 11:59 pm on the deadline date. You can track your status and updates in the portal.

If there are any errors with your application, you will receive an email from ISTS. You must respond by the given date with any corrections for your application to be processed.

Frequently asked questions

Can I create my profile before the scholarship application window opens?

No, accounts may only be created on or after the date the application opens.

When can I start my application?

Applications may be started on or after the date the application opens and must be completed before the application window closes.

How long will it take to fill out my application?

Our adaptive application is unique to each student, so times will vary. However, it is recommended to plan at least 30 minutes for the initial questionnaire.

Beyond that, plan a minimum of one hour. The more thorough your application, the more likely you are to be eligible for scholarships.

What if I already created an account with my school email?

You will have to contact ISTS customer care to assist you.

What if I submitted my application with an error?

If your error was on the initial questionnaire, you will have to contact ISTS customer care. If you believe there was an error on the remaining application, you can log into your account during the application window and make changes.

How do I know if my application was received?

In your application portal, your status will change from ‘in process’ to ‘submitted.’

Why didn't my application go through?

In most cases, a failed application is due to a student not completing all the steps in their application, forgetting to submit on time, or not responding to ISTS with any follow up information before the deadline.

Can I save my application and return to it later?

The initial questionnaire must be done in one sitting, however, once that is complete, you may save and go back to your application as often as needed before the application deadline.

Why didn't I get a scholarship?

There are generally more applicants than scholarships available, so unfortunately not everyone is guaranteed to receive a scholarship award.

Additionally, you may not have met eligibility criteria, or you may have missed a step in the application process, which would result in an incomplete application.

If there’s a specific scholarship you thought you would be eligible for, you may have forgotten to click an eligibility box or not submitted additional required information.

How do I accept my scholarship if I have more than one?

All students will receive an email from ISTS with information about their scholarship award(s) and must log in to their ISTS account to accept. If you have multiple awards, you may only be able to click accept on one award, but your profile will accept all awards behind the scenes.

How do scholarship payments work?

Payments are issued from ISTS. In most cases, funds will be transferred directly to your school via ACH. When this is not an option, a check made payable to your school will be mailed directly to you, and you will need to deliver it to your school’s financial aid office.

When will I know if I am getting a scholarship?

All students will be notified whether or not they receive a scholarship award no later than May 31. See the scholarship timeline for other important dates.
