Incourage offers over 180 scholarships for students with goals in higher education, providing opportunities for all students in our community to reach their full potential.

****The 2022-2023 application period is closed.****

2022-2023 scholarship application period: December 15, 2022 – January 26, 2023. During this time, students will have the opportunity to apply for scholarships through Incourage’s online application process.   

First-time student applicants: On or after December 15, 2022, you may begin your 2022-2023 application. The application will not be available prior to December 15. To create an account, log in here.  

Returning applicants: On or after December 15, 2022, please log in to your account. From your home page, click Add New Application. Enter the program key Incourage when prompted; this will give you access to the application. Be sure to review your contact information and update your school status, the year that you will be attending in the fall 2023, prior to beginning the application.

Thanks to the generosity of its donors, in 2022 Incourage awarded $178,250 (173 scholarships) to 109 students pursuing or continuing higher education.

Information You Should Know

  • Most scholarships are for residents of the south Wood County area: Nekoosa, Pittsville, Port Edwards, Rome, Rudolph, Vesper, Wisconsin Rapids, and surrounding communities.
  • For ease of applying, we utilize a common application form. Applicants are considered for eligible scholarships based on the information provided.
  • View the 2023 Scholarship Catalog for descriptions of Incourage scholarships.
  • Local high school recipients will be notified at their school’s award program in May. Other high school seniors, continuing college students, and non-traditional recipients will be notified via mail. Additionally, all applicants will receive email notification from ISTS, scholarship administrator, late-May.
