Tribune Updates from 2024

A Journey of Resilience & Persistence

Fall/Winter 2024

The Tribune Building Project is centered around empowering our residents to have a voice in creating a vibrant hub of much needed economic growth for our community and surrounding area. Resident ideas are pointing us to a public market concept and our recent feasibility study has given us a green light. Our current work includes:

  • Pursuing a Public Market concept to expand entrepreneurial opportunities for an inviting resident and visitor experience in our downtown.
  • Developing a full business plan for a public market in our downtown.
  • Finding ways to utilize the building to highlight our beautiful riverfront.
  • Expanding upon initial rooftop concepts for additional uses.
  • Pursuing additional funding sources and grants.
  • Connecting with diverse groups to create a place for authentic multi-cultural experiences.
  • Partnering with experts who have years of success in bringing public market plans into reality.

This will be a hub for entrepreneurial growth, multi-cultural collaboration and celebration, and a place to spark a brighter future for our community and beyond.

Thank you for your ongoing support as we continue advancing, refining, and advocating for everything the Tribune stands for in creating a community that is welcoming for all.
