Community Picnic: Celebrating Local Assets & Each Other
On Wednesday, August 3, more than 7,000 people gathered in celebration of each other and our shared place at the fifth annual Community Picnic. Thank you to the 61 community partners, and more than 400 volunteers who generously contributed to the Community Picnic with Incourage. The event was a heartwarming example of what makes our community special. Please click on any of the above photos to view the event album, and be on the lookout for even more photos and additional information soon.

We believe an informed and engaged community is a healthy community. Here are two upcoming opportunities to get engaged:

Community For Us, By Us Aquatics Discussion
August 9, 2016
6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
East Junior High School Cafeteria | 311 Lincoln Street

Community For Us, By Us, a partnership between Incourage and the Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service (WIPPS), is a series of collaborative discussions designed to invite residents to identify and take action on important community priorities. Among others, the issue of accessible, community aquatics emerged as a high priority. To learn more about issues identified at past meetings, visit https://wipps.org/news/wi-rapids-group-community-us-us-prioritizes-issues/.

Join the discussion on August 9 to become more informed on the issue of aquatics in our community, explore the value and broad impact of aquatics to our region and talk with other residents about how to engage on this high community priority. For more information, visit our Events page.

Form 990 and Foundation Fundamentals
August 18, 2016
